Grinch Who Stole Warriors’ Christmas

Milwaukee-Bucks-Fans-CelebrateWhen the Golden State Warriors’ winning streak came to an abrupt end Saturday night thanks to the Milwaukee Bucks, no one was surprised, least of all Milwaukee Bucks fans who showed up for the take down in t-shirts with the fateful numbers 24-1.

After Golden State tussled with the Boston Celtics, who had them seeing green well into the wee hours of Friday night before ultimately winning in double overtime, fans around the NBA, following Stephen Curry and the Warriors’ unceasing success with both admiration and a side-eye, sensed golden-boy blood trickling in the water.

We all knew it was coming…so did they.

Cleveland Cavaliers fans can’t stand the Boston Celtics.  We will never forgive Kelly Olynyk for popping out Kevin Love’s arm like a Ken doll’s at a critically ill time in our season.  And, even though we are still confounded by the NBA allowing body snatchers to earn a salary in a usually family-friendly sport, we were rooting for the Celtics because we needed Stephen Curry to know what it feels like to be a great team on the verge of something great only to have injuries, fatigue, and a tough schedule turn you into The Walking Dead . . . forcing you to move like Charles Barkley or Shawn Kemp in a pick-up game after an All-U-Can-Eat Buffet.

Don’t let the goatee fool you…This IS the Baby-faced Assassin.

Welcome to LeBron Jamestown.  It’s no fun for the star or the stargazers to drink that nasty Kool-Aid.

Stephen Curry and the Warriors should be congratulated for a great start to the season . . . by someone.  Not the Cavs.  The Cavaliers only regret that they were not the Grinch who stole the Warriors’ Christmas.  But the Cavaliers will be here when they reload their bags.  And we’ll even toss in a pair of clippers for the Baby-faced Assassin hiding behind that ridiculous goatee.

This season, milk, cookies, AND candy SHALL be taken from babies!

I wanted Wine & Gold to win this one with a vengeance. Can’t explain how, even with Boy Wonder (like Casper the Ghost) virtually disappearing in the game, we still lost. But now that the Cavs are finding their offensive rhythm, there’s hope that redemption draws nigh on MLK Day!!! Who u wit???
